Lecturer in Biochemistry at Loughborough University in the UK. Completed a PhD in tumour virology at the University of Birmingham. Current research interests include understanding the interactions between cancer cells and stromal cells in the tumour microenvironment, and how exercise may impinge on these interactions.
Dr. Bonnie Brock is a Registered Dietitian as well as a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist and Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Brock obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from Cornell University, a Masters of Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences. As both a Registered Dietitian and a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Brock recognizes the body's inherent ability to heal itself once the underlying causes of illness are identified and removed.
Jim Painter, PhD, RDN is a renowned speaker, educator and researcher. With more than 100 peer-reviewed articles in nutrition and portion control, his expertise spans the arena of lifestyle nutrition. He has been a professor for 30 years and most recently was the Chair of the School of Family and Consumer Sciences at Eastern Illinois University. His more recent pursuits have been consulting with professional groups such as the American Heart Association on the Nutrition Advisory Committee and companies like Sun-Maid Raisins and the National Dairy Council.
Lynn specialized in oncology nursing and worked in the NHS for 25 years. She completed her PhD at the University of Nottingham and has academic and clinical expertise in research, cancer nursing and healthcare communication, particularly in relation to having difficult and challenging conversations with patients. She embraced her entrepreneurial spirit a couple of years ago and started her own not for profit organization called Healthcare Communication Matters. She is CEO of this company and offers consultancy and training and is actively involved in healthcare communication-related research, particularly around having difficult conversations. She is passionate about patient empowerment and advocacy.
Currently serves as the Dean of Integrative & Functional Medicine for John Patrick University of Health & Applied Sciences. Classically trained chef, nutritionist and dietary manager. Instructed high school Family & Consumer Sciences and University Professor of Culinary Nutrition. Recognized and nominated as Disney® Teacher of the Year and a Golden Toque Honoree (Le Cordon Bleu). Published in Chef Educator Today Magazine, and appeared in the Sun-Sentinel & Miami Herald News, along with a food radio broadcast of, “Join Us at the Table.
Dr. Felicia Stoler, DCN, MS, RDN, FACSM, FAND, Diplomate ACLM, "America's Health & Wellness Expert" is a nationally recognized subject matter expert in the media for over a decade in food, wellness and healthful living. She is the author of Living Skinny in Fat Genes: The Healthy Way to Lose Weight and Feel Great and the former host of TLC's Honey We're Killing the Kids. Felicia is trained as a medical journalist and is an expert at translating the science into consumer-friendly terminology. She has held volunteer leadership positions at the state and national levels for several professional associations.
Dr. Jennifer Koslo, PhD, RDN, LDN, CPT is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Licensed Dietitian in the state of Texas, and an American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer. Dr. Koslo earned a PhD in education and a dual MS in human nutrition and exercise science. Dr. Koslo's experience includes working as a US Peace Corps fisheries volunteer in Sierra Leone, West Africa; working as a clinical cardiac dietitian; for a state health department, teaching college level nutrition, and working with nutrition clients one-on-one. She is also the author of ten healthy eating cookbooks, including her most recent, DASH for Weight Loss.
Janice Newell Bissex is a Holistic Cannabis Practitioner and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. After her dad found relief from his pain using medical cannabis it became Janice’s mission to help others suffering from chronic pain, anxiety, insomnia, autoimmune disorders, IBD/IBS, and other debilitating conditions find relief using CBD and cannabis.
She completed training and certification through the Holistic Cannabis Academy and also completed the Cannabis Fundamentals Certificate Program at GreenFlower. Janice now advises clients on access, proper cannabinoid ratios, dosing, best consumption methods, and cooking with cannabis in her Jannabis Wellness consulting business.
Maggie McGinnis, MS, RDN, CD is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist and Certified Nutrition Education Specialist certified in Washington State. She has Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Seattle Pacific University and a Master’s in Nutrition Education from Eastern Illinois University.
McGinnis primarily works with the in-patient population at Whidbey Health Medical Center providing nutrition assessment and medical nutrition therapy counseling.
Brad brings 30 years of Executive Leadership experience including 2 decades in managing large operations in the managed care and finance space. Brad has lead teams that built from the ground up programs in Claims Administration, Telemedicine, Analytics, and Utilization Review. Serving others is at the core of Brad’s core beliefs in creating great enterprise value with a purpose.
