Dr. Bonnie Brock is a Registered Dietitian as well as a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist and Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Brock obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from Cornell University, a Masters of Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences. As both a Registered Dietitian and a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Brock recognizes the body's inherent ability to heal itself once the underlying causes of illness are identified and removed.
Jim Painter, PhD, RDN is a renowned speaker, educator and researcher. With more than 100 peer-reviewed articles in nutrition and portion control, his expertise spans the arena of lifestyle nutrition. He has been a professor for 30 years and most recently was the Chair of the School of Family and Consumer Sciences at Eastern Illinois University. His more recent pursuits have been consulting with professional groups such as the American Heart Association on the Nutrition Advisory Committee and companies like Sun-Maid Raisins and the National Dairy Council.
Currently serves as the Dean of Integrative & Functional Medicine for John Patrick University of Health & Applied Sciences. Classically trained chef, nutritionist and dietary manager. Instructed high school Family & Consumer Sciences and University Professor of Culinary Nutrition. Recognized and nominated as Disney® Teacher of the Year and a Golden Toque Honoree (Le Cordon Bleu). Published in Chef Educator Today Magazine, and appeared in the Sun-Sentinel & Miami Herald News, along with a food radio broadcast of, “Join Us at the Table.
Maggie McGinnis, MS, RDN, CD is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist and Certified Nutrition Education Specialist certified in Washington State. She has Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Seattle Pacific University and a Master’s in Nutrition Education from Eastern Illinois University.
McGinnis primarily works with the in-patient population at Whidbey Health Medical Center providing nutrition assessment and medical nutrition therapy counseling.
